    摘要: The invention provides a process for transvinylation of a reactant carboxylic acid with a reactant vinyl ester to give a product vinyl ester and the corresponding acid of the reactant vinyl ester in the presence of one or more catalysts, in a reactor at a temperature of 100°C to 170°C and a pressure of 2 bar abs. to 15 bar abs., wherein the reactant vinyl ester, the reactant carboxylic acid and the catalyst are supplied to a reactor, and the transvinylation reaction is conducted, and, on completion of the transvinylation reaction, the product vinyl ester is separated from the reaction mixture by distillation, characterized in that the reaction mixture is decompressed in a decompression vessel, the gaseous phase obtained is then condensed and recycled into the reactor without further purification, and the liquid phase obtained is freed of reactant vinyl ester and corresponding acid with a first distillation, and the product vinyl ester is separated from the reaction mixture in a further distillation step.

    摘要: An aqueous carpet coating composition includes a particulate filler, a polymeric thickener and an aqueous dispersion of a copolymer that includes vinyl acetate units and ethylene units. The dispersion stabilization system includes a) 1.5 to 3 wt% of a combination of polyvinyl alcohols including a1) one or more partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohols with a degree of hydrolysis of 85 to 95 mol% and a Hoeppler viscosity of 10-33 mPa•s, and a2) one or more highly hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohols with a degree of hydrolysis of 98 to 100 mol% and a Hoeppler viscosity of 10-33 mPa•s; and b) 1.5 to 3 wt% of an emulsifier component consisting of one or more nonionic emulsifiers and one or more anionic emulsifiers. The dispersion has a viscosity of ≤ 1500 mPa•s and the viscosity of the coating composition is 6000 to 7000 mPa•s.

    摘要: A composition for coating paper includes at least one pigment selected from the group consisting of polymeric pigments, aluminosilicates, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, talc, barium sulfate, zinc oxide, aluminum trihydrate, amorphous silica and silicates; wherein the pigment is dispersed in an aqueous dispersion of a polymeric binder that is a copolymer of vinyl acetate, ethylene, at least one ethylenically unsaturated sulfonic acid or salt thereof and optionally one or more other monomers, wherein vinyl acetate units constitute in a range of 70-90 wt % of the polymeric binder and ethylene units constitute in a range of 10-30 wt % of the polymeric binder; and wherein the polymeric binder has a mean particle size in a range from 0.1 μm to 0.3 μm and the optional one or more other monomers do not include any N—(C1-4) alkylol (meth)acrylamide; and wherein the aqueous dispersion of the polymeric binder is free of alkylphenol ethoxylate surfactants and includes a nonionic surfactant component consisting of a polyethylene oxide/polypropylene oxide block copolymer and optionally one or more other nonionic surfactants, and optionally includes an anionic surfactant component consisting of one or more anionic surfactants.
