摘要：
This invention provides a process for producing esters of fatty acids and one or more polyhydric alcohols comprising the steps of:
(a) providing a reaction mixture comprising free fatty acids and one or more polyhydric alcohols;
(b) heating said reaction mixture to a temperature at which said free fatty acids react with said one or more polyhydric alcohols ; and
(c) subjecting said reaction mixture to a flashing step generating a vapour stream and a flashing residue comprising said esters.
