The invention relates to an energy-generating device (14) for a tyre sensor module (4) of a vehicle tyre (1), which device (14) has: a piezoelement (7) which can be adjusted between a first stable bent position and a second stable bent position, and during the adjustment between the stable bent positions said piezoelement (7) outputs a piezoelectric voltage voltage (Up), and a resetting device (12) for mechanically adjusting the piezoelement (7) from the first stable bent position into the second stable bent position, wherein the resetting device (12) can be activated by means of a deformation which acts on the energy-generating device (14). This deformation can occur, in particular, in a deformed tyre area (11) of the vehicle tyre (1) above its tyre contact face (3). The piezoelement (7) is advantageously clamped at its end regions (8, 9) in receptacles (5a, b) and has two stable bent positions which are curved in opposite directions and have unstable intermediate states. In this context the resetting device (12) and the receptacles (5a, b) are preferably mounted in two housing regions (5, 6) which are adjustable in relation to one another.
