According to the invention, the grain of the yarns (3) extends from the release point of the yarns (3) on the feed spool (5) directly toward the yarn infeed opening (23) of the yarn infeed tube (22), wherein the yarns (3) form a conical spool shape on the feed spool (5) in at least one region (11-15) of the spool length of the feed spool (5).
