The invention relates to a retainer device (10) for retaining a reducing agent dosing valve (20), wherein the retainer device at least partially surrounds an interior space which is provided for holding the reducing agent dosing valve. According to the invention, the retainer device comprises a sound dampening device which dampens sound vibrations emerging from the interior space.
