The invention relates to a valve battery (1) with several plate-shaped valve units (2) arrayed in a linear direction (3), each containing in a first retaining chamber (16) a piezoelectric control element (24) in the form of an elongated transducer (28). The first retaining chambers (16) of all valve units (2) jointly constitute a component of a feeder channel (22), which extends through all valve units (2) and the connection of which to the individual operating contacts (12) can be controlled by activating the piezoelectric control elements (24) individually.
