A method is for producing propylene oxide, including reacting propylene, hydrogen, and oxygen, in an acetonitrile solvent or in a mixture of solvents which include acetonitrile and water, in presence of a titanosilicate catalyst and a palladium catalyst supported on a carrier, the propylene being fed into the reaction in the form of liquefied propylene. This realizes efficient production of propylene oxide.
