A control barrier (1) for the access of one user at a time, mainly for means of public transportation such as buses, trams and the like, comprising a body (2) for supporting a control arm (10) for access to the barrier (1) which is pivoted on the supporting body (2) and is connected to movement means, the barrier (1) being provided with a safety wing (20), which is connected to the control arm (10) by way of means for rotation about a substantially vertical axis, the rotation means being controlled by means for controlling the rotation speed of the safety wing (20).
