The invention mainly relates to metal siding (5), which is to be attached to a supporting structure via an array of profile members, including: at least one ribbed metal sheet (6) consisting of alternating ledges (9) and grooves (10), at least two clips (7) inserted into and attached to one of the grooves (10), the clips (7) consisting of a base (13) and two symmetrical arms (15) arranged so as to form at least one narrowed area (16) and at least one widened area (17), at least one cover (8) fitted onto or into the clip (7), the cover (8) consisting of a profile member made of a cap (18) and two symmetrical arms arranged so as to form at least one narrowed area (20) and at least one widened area (21), the shapes and sizes of which are substantially equivalent to those of the narrowed (16) and widened (17) areas of the clip (7), respectively, at least one flat element (22) wedged into at least one of the widened areas (17, 21) and preventing the movement of the cover (8) relative to the clip (7).
