Abstract:
In a pressure control arrangement of a fuel injection system which is operated by way of a pump (12, 100) for an internal combustion engine (32), having a valve (76) which is arranged on the pressure side of the pump (12, 100) for discharging fuel under pressure from the pressure side of the pump (12, 100) to the suction side of the pump (12, 100), a variable restrictor (78) with a modifiable restrictor action is provided on the suction side of the pump (12, 100), in order to restrict the fuel quantity which is fed to the pump (12, 100).
