Methods and compositions for monitoring, diagnosis, prognosis, and determination of treatment regimens in subjects suffering from or suspected of having a renal injury are disclosed. In particular, the assays detect each of C-X-C motif chemokines -1, -2, and -3 as diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers in renal injuries.
