The present invention relates to a foam rubber material for a weather strip comprising a crosslinked rubber sponge material having a load value ratio satisfying the following relationship: load value ratio % = B / A × 100 ‰¤ 50 , wherein A is a load value at 50% compression in the course of compression deformation, and B is a load value at 50% compression in the course of returning from the deformation.
