Viral antigens are obtained by producing the Kelkit06 strain of the CCHF virus isolated in our country in the Vero E6 cells. Concentration, purification and inactivation of the CCHF antigens are realized. Then, it is adjuvanted with ALUM (aluminum hydroxide) adjuvant and cell culture based inactivated CCHF vaccine is developed by the addition of 0.001% of thimerosal into the final vaccine formulation. The vaccine tested in the IFNAR mice demonstrates formation of high neutralizing antibody titer and protection.
