The present invention relates to a combustion engine (1) comprising:
a combustion chamber (4) in which an air-fuel mixture can be ignited, and
a control device (24) capable of adjusting a factor (air-fuel ratio) of the combustion engine and further capable of carrying out a no-spark combustion detection step of detecting whether a no-spark combustion has occurred or not in the combustion chamber (4),
wherein the control device (24) is configured to adjust the factor of the combustion engine (1) so as to decrease the tendency toward a no-spark combustion when a no-spark combustion is detected in the no-spark combustion detection step, and
wherein the control device (24) is configured to adjust the factor of the combustion engine (1) so as to increase the tendency toward a no-spark combustion when no no-spark combustion is detected in the no-spark combustion detection step.
