The protective cover (4) has a first housing part (2A) and a second housing part (2B) forming a housing cover, wherein the first housing part (2A) togther with the second housing part (2B) forms a receiving space for a coil spring (3) and the two housing parts (2A, 2B) are rotatable with respect to one another. For this purpose, the coil spring housing (2) has a gap between the first housing part (2A) and the second housing part (2B). The protective cover (4) has an annular disc (9) extending in the radial direction and a wall portion (10) adjoining an outer edge of the annular disc (9) and extending in the axial direction, wherein the protective cover (4) can be connected to the coil spring housing (2) in such a way that, in a functional state connected to the coil spring housing (2) to form a coil spring housing arrangement, the protective cover (4) covers the gap between the first housing part (2A) and the second housing part (2B) of the coil spring housing (2) from the exterior.
