摘要:
A lamination machine (10) comprising:
- a film support (16) for receiving a functional film (12) to be laminated,
- an article support (18) configured to receive and position the optical article (14) in a predetermined orientation, and
- an actuating member (20) configured to move the film support (16) and the article support (18) toward each other for laminating at a predetermined pressure the functional film (12) received in the film support (16) onto the optical article (14) received within the article support (18),
wherein said article support (18) is a blocker support configured to receive a surfacing blocker (22) onto which the optical article (14) is to be disposed for lamination, said article support (18) being further configured to transmit laminating forces induced by said predetermined pressure to the lamination machine (10) during a lamination operation.
