The rotor (4) has a plurality of magnetic elements (22), which are arranged beside one another around the rotation axis (3) so as to form a closed ring. Each magnetic element (22) is formed by a plurality of permanent magnets (23) which are axially arranged one after the other according to a Halbach array.
