A manufacturing method of a coil component (100) comprising the steps of: preparing a coil assembly body (10) in which a coil (15) is attached on a magnetic core (12) and a mold body (60) which is formed with a cavity portion (62) in the inside thereof and which includes at least one opening portion (70), putting a viscous admixture (50) including magnetic powders and thermosetting resin and the coil assembly body (10) in the cavity portion (62), pushing the put-in viscous admixture (50) in the mold body (60), and thermally-curing the pushed-in viscous admixture and forming a magnetic exterior body (20) which covers the coil assembly body (10). In the step of pushing, a rotating press body (30) is used.
