The present disclosure provides an electrical insulation composition comprising a polymeric matrix and carbon-based nanoparticles dispersed therein, wherein the carbon-based nanoparticles have a surface area in the range of 200-1250 m2/g and are present in an amount of 0.001-1 wt. % based on the dry weight of the electrical insulation composition.
