Provided are a traveling wheel (2), an autonomous operation apparatus (100), and a method for detecting a state of the traveling wheel (2), which relate to the technical field of autonomous operation apparatuses. The traveling wheel (2) has a wheel body (20). The wheel body (20) comprises a hub portion (202), a rim portion (204), at least one accommodating cavity (206) configured between the hub portion (202) and the rim portion (204), and at least one magnetic component (4) arranged in the accommodating cavity (206), the magnetic component (4) being configured to be capable of rolling over in the accommodating cavity (206) in at least one preset direction. The magnetic component (4) can cause a change in a magnetic field when rolling over in the accommodating cavity (206), so as to generate a detectable magnetic field change signal, and then, the rotation state of the traveling wheel (2) can be determined on the basis of the magnetic field change signal.
