The system may include a plane segmentor (PD) to segment for an imaging plane (E) in the volume ( V0 ), to so obtain a segmentation result, the said segmentation result including the said imaging plane as a subset in the volume. The system may further include an output interface (OUT) for providing output data in relation to the said imaging plane for controlling a data acquisition operation of the imaging apparatus.
