摘要： System (FS) and related method for facilitating image acquisition in medical imaging, comprising an input interface (IN) for receiving, when the system is in use, an input image volume of an object in an examination region (ER) of an imaging apparatus (IA). The system may include a plane segmentor (PD) to segment for an imaging plane (E) in the volume ( V0 ), to so obtain a segmentation result, the said segmentation result including the said imaging plane as a subset in the volume. The system may further include an output interface (OUT) for providing output data in relation to the said imaging plane for controlling a data acquisition operation of the imaging apparatus.
