PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for carrying out prevention of pollution, purification of polluted fluid or production of active radical species or peroxide for purification on the surface of a structure of various kinds of raw materials such as glass, tile, metals and plastics or on the surface of an electroconductive polymer by formation of an electroconductive polymer film. SOLUTION: An electroconductive polymer film formed on the structure surface of various kinds of raw materials or an electroconductive polymer body is irradiated with electromagnetic wave of absorption wavelength thereof to carry out prevention of pollution, purification of polluted fluid or production of active radical species or peroxide for purification.
