PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive joint absorption connector having the function adaptable to the array requirement on a wire harness side, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The joint absorption connector 1 comprises a connector block 2 having first and second connection spaces on both sides of an internal intermediate wall, and having a plurality of connector sub assemblies 7 with a male tab protruded respectively in the first and second connection spaces laminated on the internal intermediate wall, a plurality of press-contact connectors 3 having a housing and a plurality of pressure-contact terminals fitted to the housing, a wire group 4 arranged across a plurality of pressure-contact connectors 3. The joint, of the wire harness 5 having a counter-side connector 6 to be connected via the second connection space is absorbed by inserting the individual pressure-contact connectors 3 with the wire group 4 arranged thereon in the corresponding first connection space of the connector block 2, and connecting them to the male tab.
