PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sulfoxides or sulfones grafted onto polymers. SOLUTION: A compound represented by formula I (m is 0, 1 or 2; n is 0, 1, 2 or 3; and P is 0, 1 or 2) is provided, and the polymers grafted with the compound, e.g., polyolefins such as polyethylene and polypropylene have excellent stability against oxidation, heat, dynamic or light-induced, and/or ozone-induced decomposition.
