PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating furnace and a heating apparatus which continuously and stably remove residual strain of an SMA (Shape Memory Alloy) wire. SOLUTION: The heating furnace includes: a heating portion in which a first passage for heating a part of the wire to an austenite transformation finish temperature or higher is formed; and two guide portions in each of which a second passage for passing the wire therethrough is formed, the second passages being arranged integrally with the heating portion so as to communicate with both end parts of the first passage, respectively. In the heating furnace, the guide portions are constituted in such a manner that each of temperature at the openings in two guide portions becomes a martensite transformation finish temperature or lower under tension.
