PURPOSE: A goods management system and method is provided to manage the goods for enabling a user to check various situations or states of each kind of goods, e.g. to extract data on the goods to be sent back to a goods supplier. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a data aquisition module(11), a data classification module(12), a database(13) and a controller(14). The data aquisition module(11), connected to a warehouse over an online network, collects data on the stored goods. The data aquisition module, also connected to the controller(14), enables a goods manager to compare the data stored at the controller(14) with the goods stored at the warehouse. The data classification module(12), connected to the data aquisition module(11), classifies the data, transmitted by the data aquisition module(11), by the situation and the sate. The situation can include a temporary storage, a transportation for warehousing or delivery, a prearrangement for delivery or sending back to a factory, an entrustment and so on. The state can include a good state and a bad state or rating criteria. The controller(14) includes a search engine. If a manager requests necessary data, the search engine searches for the requested data and displays on a web page the current situation or state corresponding to the corresponding goods or warehouse.
