For example, an apparatus may include logic and circuitry configured to cause a wireless station to determine a timing of a plurality of Discovery Windows (DWs) according to a Neighbor Awareness Networking (NAN) Protocol; and communicate one or more NAN messages over a Sub 1 Gigahertz (GHz) (S1G) band during one or more of the DWs.
