The method includes detecting that a first accessory is located within a predetermined distance from the electronic device; determining whether address information stored in the first accessory corresponds to address information stored in the electronic device; and transmitting, to the first accessory, in response to a determination that the address information stored in the first accessory does not correspond to the address information stored in the electronic device, the address information stored in the electronic device.
