The electronic device includes a processor and a memory, wherein the memory includes instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the electronic device to perform obtaining an image for generating an edited video from a plurality of contents, generating matching information between the edited video and the plurality of contents, and generating the edited video based on the obtained image and the matching information. The matching information includes information of at least one of a source file, time, or location associated with the obtained image.
