The display unit projects and reflects, onto a light-transmitting display medium, light expressing an image, to allow the image to be viewed, as a virtual image, by a user. The control unit performs first stereoscopic display processing for causing light respectively expressing a left-eye image and a right-eye image of an object to be displayed, to be projected in the display unit. As a result of this processing, the object to be displayed can be stereoscopically viewed in a three-dimensional image space by the user.
