The drive unit moves the screen in an optical axis direction. The support base supports the drive unit. The fixed base supports the support base via a damper. The support base is supported by the fixed base such that the support base has support rigidity higher in a first direction in which a visual distance of a display image is changed in association with the movement of the screen than in directions other than the first direction.
