Abstract: A load sensor includes: an element part in which capacitance changes in accordance with a load; a copper wire drawn from the element part in order to detect change in the capacitance; and a fixation tool configured to fix the copper wire to the element part. The element part includes an electrically-conductive elastic body that is electrically conductive and that forms one pole for the capacitance, and the fixation tool presses and fixes the copper wire to a surface of the electrically-conductive elastic body so as to be movable with respect to the surface of the electrically-conductive elastic body in accordance with elastic deformation of the electrically-conductive elastic body.

Abstract: A mounted object detection device includes: a load sensor in which a plurality of sensor parts each configured to detect a load are disposed in a matrix shape; and a controller configured to detect a situation of a mounted object on the load sensor on the basis of an output from the load sensor. The controller: detects a load distribution on a detection region of the load sensor on the basis of an output from the load sensor; discerns which of a person or animal and a thing the mounted object is, on the basis of the load distribution; and when having discerned that the mounted object is a thing, discerns whether or not a person or an animal is mounted on the thing, on the basis of temporal change in the load distribution.

Abstract: An image display device includes a light source, a screen, an optical system, a converging lens, an optical distance correction member, and a scanning unit. The converging lens is configured to converge the light emitted from the light source onto the screen. The optical distance correction member is disposed between the converging lens and the screen. The scanning unit scans the screen with the light from the light source. The screen is disposed so as to be inclined with respect to a plane perpendicular to an optical axis of the converging lens so that a viewing distance of the virtual image gradually varies. The optical distance correction member adjusts an optical distance of light transmitting through the optical distance correction member so that a distance between the screen and a focusing position of the light is made substantially identical over an entire image display region in the screen.

Abstract: An image display device includes: a light source emitting laser light; a screen on which an image is drawn by being two-dimensionally scanned by the laser light; a scanner causing the laser light to scan the screen; a light detector detecting a light amount of the laser light emitted from the light source; and a controller controlling the light source by changing a current value to drive the light source in response to a target light amount. The controller obtains a detection signal when driving the light source at a plurality of current setting values from the light detector, and corrects the current value with respect to the target light amount according to an arithmetic operation configured to suppress a difference between an output characteristic of the light source guessed by the obtained detection signal and a reference output characteristic.

Abstract: A display device is provided and may include a light source that emits a light beam, a scanner that causes the light beam to scan, a movable screen in which an image is formed by transmitting the light beam from scanner, an optical system configured to project the image on a display medium, and a driver configured to cause the movable screen to reciprocate in moving directions. The image includes a first image and a second image. The movable screen reciprocates in a posture inclined with respect to the moving directions such that a second end of the movable screen is positioned closer to the scanner than a first end of the movable screen. The scanner forms the second image in the movable screen while the movable screen moves such that a forming direction of the second image is inclined with respect to a direction approaching the scanner.

Abstract: An image display device includes a light source, a screen, an optical system and a driving unit. The screen is irradiated with light from the light source to form an image. The optical system generates a virtual image with the light from the screen. The driving unit moves the screen in an optical axis direction. The driving unit includes a holder, one or more elastic members and a driving source. The holder holds the screen. The one or more elastic members support the holder so as to enable the holder to reciprocally move in the optical axis direction. The driving source generates force for moving the holder in the optical axis direction.

Abstract: An image display device includes a light source, a screen, an optical system, a screen driving mechanism unit, a memory unit, and a screen driving circuit unit. An image is formed on the screen by being irradiated with light from the light source. The screen driving mechanism unit moves the screen in an optical axis direction of the light. A smoothed movement profile is obtained by smoothing a movement profile used as a target for moving the screen so as to make a moving speed of the screen vary gently. The memory unit stores screen driving waveform information that has been generated so that the screen follows the smoothed movement profile. The screen driving circuit unit drives the screen driving mechanism unit, based on the screen driving waveform information stored in the memory unit.
