The electronic device may include a housing, a display, at least one sensor, and at least one processor. The housing may include a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and a side surface enclosing at least part of a space between the first and second surfaces. The side surface may include an elongated first member that is formed of an opaque material, and at least one second member dividing the first member into at least two segments and formed of a light-transmittable material. The at least one sensor may be located in the space adjacent to the at least one second member and oriented to detect incident light received through the at least one second member.
