The method includes the following steps: determining a consumption target value for the electric power distribution grid, the consumption target value being determined with reference to at an end instant of an observation time window, in which consumption of the electric power distribution grid at a given observation electric node of the electric power distribution grid is observed; and executing a control procedure for controlling the set-points of the first grid devices.
