The method includes recognizing at least one terminal present in a same space as the device, sending a request for a connection between the device and an access point (AP) to the at least one terminal, receiving AP information necessary for connection to the AP from the at least one terminal corresponding to the request, and attempting to connect to the AP based on the AP information.
