An embodiment operates by receiving a panel selection of a second panel of a first window comprising at least a first panel and the second panel. The second panel is undocked from the first window responsive to the panel selection. An item selection is received from either the first window or the second window. It is determined that the item selection corresponds to one of the first window or the second window as a selected window. The displayed information in the unselected window is updated corresponding to the item selection.
