The food ordering console includes a housing that comprises a front cover and a rear cover attached to the front cover, wherein the rear cover comprises a main body and a protrusion that extends from the main body towards a direction away from the front cover; and input and output (I/O) devices that comprises: a display, disposed between the front cover and the main body of the rear cover; and one or more of a printer and a scanner at least partially disposed between the front cover and the protrusion.
