The electronic device may comprise: a communication interface for receiving a first image from a first external electronic device and receiving a second image from a second external electronic device; a display for displaying the first image in a first area and the second image in a second area, and a processor for determining a bit rate of the first image on the basis of the size of the first area, determining a bit rate of the second image on the basis of the size of the second area, transmitting information on the bit rate of the first image to the first external electronic device via the communication interface, and transmitting information on the bit rate of the second image to the second external electronic device.
