In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a first omnidirectional antenna for coupling to a first radio to establish a first macro cell and a second omnidirectional antenna for coupling to a second radio to establish a second macro cell. The first and second omnidirectional antennas are configured for concurrent 5 GHz radio operation while maintaining at least 40 dB of isolation between the first and second omnidirectional antennas.
