The image display apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a display; an interface unit for exchanging data with the mobile terminal; and a control unit for controlling a mirroring related menu including mirroring related server information or content related to the server information such that the mirroring related menu is displayed on the basis of a user input, receiving a mirroring application item from the mobile terminal through the interface unit, and controlling the received mirroring application item such that the received mirroring application item is displayed in the mirroring related menu. Therefore, the mirroring application item received from the mobile terminal can be simply installed and displayed.
