The service may calculate and assign priority weights for processing and transmission of packets received via a network slice and quality of service flow. The service may also calculate and assign a service category set of parameters and values for the packets. The service may calculate the priority weights and the service category set of parameters and values based on a network slice identifier and a quality of service flow identifier. The service may priority weights and service category set of parameters and values may be compatible with stand-alone and non-stand-alone configurations. The service may also provide transport priority to the packets and slice-aware migration, as described herein.
