The device includes: a determiner to determine a size of the virtual object based on the position of the object; a drawer to generate an image of the virtual object by placing the virtual object at the position of the object and performing a perspective projection of the virtual object onto a virtual region with a viewpoint of a user as a reference; a generator to generate a table representing a relationship between grid points in the virtual region and points corresponding to the grid points in a plane including the display region; a transformer to generate a display image of the virtual object by transforming the image of the virtual object using the table; and a controller to display the display image in the display region.
