The disclosed computer-implemented method may include receiving, by a computing device, directional information for a waypoint along a route of travel of a personal mobility vehicle, determining, by the computing device and based on the directional information, a bearing of the waypoint from a current location of the personal mobility vehicle, and displaying, by a display device included in the personal mobility vehicle and configured to display navigational information within an illumination pattern, an indication of the bearing within the illumination pattern for navigating the personal mobility vehicle along the route of travel to the waypoint.
