A method for releasing a liner including pressuring up on the running tool, shifting the lock dog sleeve, and slacking weight to shift the support. A method for releasing a liner including applying neutral set down weight to the running tool, rotating the support, slacking weight to shift the support, and moving the tool out of engagement with the liner.
