The display substrate includes a plurality of pixels provided so as to be capable of individually switching each sub-pixel between white, black, and red, and each of the pixels includes a first sub-pixel overlapping the first sub-pixel area, a second sub-pixel overlapping the second sub-pixel area, a third sub-pixel overlapping the third sub-pixel area, and a fourth sub-pixel overlapping the fourth sub-pixel area.
