The integral polyolefin-based resin/silicone elastomeric material article comprises a shaped layer of a polyolefin-based copolymer or grafted polyolefin. It contains silyl trialkoxy groups, carboxylic acid groups and/or —OH groups. A silicone elastomeric material layer is subsequent to being cured from a hydrosilylation curable silicone elastomer composition comprising one or more adhesion promoters.
