The present invention provides a plastic sheet manufacturing method whereby a layered body including a film is made to pass through a nip portion formed by a pair of belts equipped with a joint portion and thereby integrated to manufacture a plastic sheet, the method comprising: before integration, detecting a position of the joint portion; and controlling a timing at which the layered body enters the nip portion in accordance with a detected position; and a plastic sheet manufacturing apparatus implementing the plastic sheet manufacturing method.
