摘要：
A negative electrode capable of giving a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery which has high capacity, long cycle life and excellent safety, and exhibits an excellent cycle characteristic even when charging/deep-discharging are repeated. The negative electrode comprises a current collector sheet and an active material layer deposited on the surface of the current collector sheet, wherein the active material layer comprises SiOx satisfying: 0.6≦x≦1.3, and does not include a binder.
