An acrylic adhesive composition comprising a room temperature eutectic salt prepared by mixing a metal salt represented by the formula (1) below and an alkali metal cation with a compound having an amide group represented by the formula (2) below: M+X31 (YOmRf)n  (1) where M is an alkali metal cation and Rf is a perfluoroalkane group having 1-4 carbon atoms; where R1 is hydrogen, an alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2-10 carbon atoms or an aryl or alaryl group having 6-10 carbon atoms; R2 is hydrogen, halogen, an alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2-10 carbon atoms or an aryl or alaryl group having 6-10 carbon atoms; X is carbon or nitrogen; and n is 0-6.
